Anitours, Inc. was started in 1991 by the President and owner of the company, Anita Ream. (picture above) Anita was born and raised in Chile but in 1962 she came to America to study nursing in Easton, Pennsylvania. She met and married an American and ultimately settled in New Jersey where she started her small business after 30 years of living in the United States. She has since relocated her home and office to Pittsburgh to be closer to her grandchildren. She started Anitours because she had a passion for travel. Anita also wanted to bring people to her native country of Chile and to other places in the world that were not well known, especially to Eastern Europe. Her very first tour in 1991 was to the 5 major cities of Prague, Budapest, Krakow, Vienna and Warsaw.
