Maureen Weldon Kamons O.D. is a 1985 graduate from Carlow College in Pittsburgh where she earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She then went on to obtain a bachelor of science degree in vision science and a doctor of optometry degree in 1989. Dr. Kamons has worked in the Pittsburgh area since being licensed in 1989 and started a solo practice in Regent Square in the summer of 1992. Her clinical internship training was concentrated in the area of contact lens fitting and research, pediatric vision analysis and diagnosis and management of ocular disease.
