My dream came true 31 years ago when I started my own business. In the beginning, I designed jewelry made from high quality antique buttons that resembled antique jewelry. I was a featured designer in the very elegent Vendome, which was located in Kaufmann's, a major department store in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I sold my entire button collection, and with that money I began purchasing antique and estate jewelry. Along with the jewelry business, I was a contributing editor with VICTORIA magazine, a Hearst publication. Many pieces of jewelry from my shop were featured on the pages of VICTORIA. This was the start of my mail order business. Learning about the legend, the craft, the history, and the art of jewelry makes me want to share my knowledge with those that have the love for old and beautiful jewelry.
