| Roy Engelbrecht originally hails from Aruba, but moved to the United States in his youth. Raised in a Dutch family with many siblings, his upbringing makes him bi-lingual, speaking both Dutch and English. He received his BS (biology) and his MAT from the University of Pittsburgh. Upon receiving his degree, he went to teach biology and chemistry from 1972 to 1979. |
