The Sports & Exhibition Authority is governed by a seven member Board of Directors appointed by both the County of Allegheny and the City of Pittsburgh. The SEA existence is pursuant to the Sports and Exhibition Authority Act (16 P.S. Section 5502-A et seq.). It has been responsible for implementation of the Regional Destination Financing Plan. In addition, the SEA oversees related development projects and owns and/or operates various facilities. This website includes information about the Authority's history, operations, and current role in regional economic development.
